SocialEye is committed to providing a secure and responsible intelligence platform. This Acceptable Use Policy outlines the rules and guidelines for using our services. By using SocialEye, you agree to comply with this policy. Violations may result in immediate account termination and potential legal action.
1. Permitted Uses
SocialEye is designed for legitimate security, research, and business purposes. The following uses are expressly permitted:
- Security Research: Investigating threats, vulnerabilities, and security incidents affecting your organization
- Threat Intelligence: Identifying threat actors, tracking campaigns, and analyzing attack patterns
- Fraud Prevention: Detecting and preventing fraudulent activities with proper authorization
- Due Diligence: Conducting background checks and risk assessments for legitimate business purposes
- Compliance: Meeting regulatory requirements for security monitoring and risk management
- Academic Research: Conducting approved academic studies on cybersecurity topics
- Personal Security: Checking your own data exposure and credential compromises
- Authorized Penetration Testing: Security assessments with explicit written authorization
2. Prohibited Uses
The following activities are strictly prohibited and may result in immediate termination, legal action, and reporting to law enforcement.

- Stalking or tracking individuals without their knowledge or consent
- Contacting individuals based on data obtained through the Service in a threatening manner
- Creating fake profiles or impersonating individuals using obtained data
2.2 Criminal Activities
- Identity theft or fraud
- Blackmail, extortion, or coercion
- Unauthorized access to computer systems or accounts
- Money laundering or financial crimes
- Any activity that violates local, state, national, or international law
2.3 Privacy Violations
- Doxxing or publishing private information without consent
- Building dossiers on individuals for non-security purposes
- Selling or sharing personal data obtained through the Service
- Using data to discriminate against individuals
2.4 Platform Abuse
- Automated scraping or bulk data extraction beyond API limits
- Circumventing rate limits or security measures
- Sharing account credentials or API keys
- Reselling access to the Service without authorization
- Reverse engineering or attempting to extract source code
2.5 Harmful Activities
- Facilitating spam, phishing, or social engineering attacks
- Building tools or services designed to harm others
- Activities involving minors or exploitation
- Supporting or enabling terrorist activities
3. User Responsibilities
3.1 Legal Compliance: You are solely responsible for ensuring your use of the Service complies with all applicable laws in your jurisdiction and the jurisdiction of any data subjects.

5. Enforcement

5.2 Investigation: We may investigate suspected violations and cooperate with law enforcement agencies when required or when we believe illegal activity has occurred.

- Permanent account termination without refund
- Reporting to law enforcement authorities

6. Indemnification

This includes legal fees and costs associated with defending against such claims.
